Here is the largest centralized resettlement area for ecological migrants in the country; here is the main area of the poverty alleviation and irrigation project in the Ningxia Hui autonomous region, (known as the "1236" Project); here is also the star wine production area at the eastern foothills of the Helan Mountain. Here is the Hongsibu district.

Over the past 25 years, 235,000 immigrants have been relocated and resettled. Unique industries such as wine grapes, selenium-rich day lily, organic Chinese goji berries, cultural tourism and new energy have rapidly emerged in this ancient wasteland, with legendary results.

This is one of the world's prime locations for cultivating wine grapes and producing high-end wines, often referred to as the "first town of Chinese wine". Currently, there are 108,000 mu of wine grape plantations, with 28 wineries established, producing 8 million bottles of wine annually. Over 40 brands have been nurtured and developed, including Hongmo, Qianhongyu and Geruihong. These wines have won numerous awards in prestigious domestic and international wine competitions such as the Challenge International du Vin and the Asia Wine Awards.

Here, there are 80,200 mu of day lily plantations, processing 77,000 tons of fresh day lily annually and producing 15,000 tons of dried ones. Here, 13 renowned brands such as "Xingminxuan" and "Taiyangxuan" have been cultivated. The region has successively been awarded honors like "China's star region for selenium-rich day lily", "smart agriculture -- selenium-rich day lily demonstration base", and "hundred varieties of high-quality specialty agricultural products". It is an exceptional area for cultivating day lily.

Located in the core production area of Ningxia's goji berries, there are currently 25,000 mu of organically grown goji berries. The annual production of dried goji berries amounts to 3,700 tons. Renowned brands such as Bairuiyuan, Qidianguan and Longyuan Shengguo have been established. The products, including dried goji berries, goji berry tea and goji berry pulp, are popular and sell well both at home and abroad.

Located in the core area of Ningxia's Tan sheep industry, this place has been dedicated for many years to cultivating high-quality breeds of beef cattle and Tan sheep. The beef and mutton produced here are delicious and of excellent quality, becoming a delightful delicacy.

Here, the Yellow River culture and immigrant culture complement each other, forming a unique cultural system focusing on "immigration, grapes, ecology, and aviation". This unique cultural form embodies diversity and inclusivity, making it the preferred destination for self-driving tours in central Ningxia.

Since the beginning of this year, Hongsibu district has advanced the construction of a 6.5GW photovoltaic new energy industry, making every effort to promote and nurture the industrial investment attraction work for the demonstration park of the photovoltaic industry and the demonstration base for the manufacturing of new energy equipment here.
