XinhuaThe 3rd Dubai New Energy Conference was held in Dubai on Oct. 29th. During the conference, more than 300 political and business representatives from China, the United Arab Emirates ("the UAE") and other countries discussed the practice and vision of China-UAE new energy cooperation.
Zhu Lian, economic and commercial counselor of the Chinese Embassy in the UAE, said that both China and the UAE place high importance on green transition and development, and enhancing cooperation in the field of new energy has become an important consensus between the two sides. It is expected that China and the UAE will continue to work together to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results for the benefit of the peoples of both countries.
Hamad, head of Dubai's Jebel Ali Free Zone, introduced Dubai's vision for sustainable development, as well as the development of clean and renewable energy, the reduction of carbon emissions and the popularization of electric vehicles, expressing his expectation of strengthening cooperation with Chinese enterprises.
The conference was hosted by China National Building Material Group (CNBM) Middle East and North Africa International Company("the company"). At the conference, representatives of a number of Chinese enterprises introduced their practices in green energy conservation respectively. The company signed cooperation agreements with 6 companies including TotalEnergies (Dubai company).
