Taking advantage of the organization of the Symposium on China-Arab States Expo With Embassies of Arab States in China, the Secretariat of the China-Arab States Expo (Department of Commerce of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region) went to Beijing to discuss the preparatory work for the 7th session of the Expo with relevant ministries, business associations and central enterprises from Nov. 25th to 29th.

The Secretariat took visits to deferent departments of the Ministry of Commerce, including the Department of West Asia and Africa, the Department of Trade in Services and Commercial Services, the Department of Foreign Investment Administration, as well as the Trade Development Bureau and the Investment Promotion Agency, to report on and discuss the top-level design, the approval of the program, and the related preparations for the 7th session. Other matters, such as how to organize the activities of the "Multinational Corporations to Ningxia" and "Invest in China" into provinces and regions, were also discussed. 

While visiting the China International Contractors Association, the China Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment and other business associations, the Secretariat introduced the preparations for the 7th session, and invited business associations to provide promotions for the 7th session and organize enterprises to participate in exhibitions.

When visiting China Energy Engineering Group, China Communications Construction Group and other central enterprises, the Secretariat introduced the overall framework and activity design of the 7th session, and invited such enterprises to participate in the 7th session and engage in the organization of various activities.

The Secretariat also paid a visit to the Arab Information Exchange Centre, had talks and exchanges with Li Shaoxian, Mustafa, Xiao Ke, Niu Xinchun and some other members of the China-Arab States Expo Advisory Committee in Beijing, solicited their opinions and suggestions on the overall program and related programs, and conducted in-depth discussions on the next step of the work of the Advisory Committee.

Such visits strengthened the synergy of "China-Arab Co-operation, Ministry-Autonomous Region Co-organization, and Civil Societies Co-sponsoring" mechanism. The Expo has served as a bridge for both sides to build the "Belt and Road", an important platform for the high-quality development of China-Arab economic and trade cooperation, and a gold-lettered signboard for China's local provinces and cities in economic and trade cooperation with Arab states. The parties concerned will give full support to the preparatory work for the 7th session of the Expo, actively organize enterprises to have their presence in relevant activities, and promote in-depth cooperation in relevant fields, and boost the high-quality development of China-Arab economic and trade cooperation.
